- The experience verification affidavit is only provided as a part of the application by the testing service once the exam has been passed.
Education Requirements
A broker needs 336 hours of education, and the typical broker applicant's education is made up of the following courses:
- Brokerage Management is 48 classroom hours and is a mandatory course for broker applicants.
- 288 hours of approved Broker Pre-License courses.
- You can use 9 college credit hours toward your Broker's license (144 course hours), these courses do not have to be in real estate.
- Or you can use 21 credits from an accredited college with 12 credits in Real Estate.

How do I apply for my broker license after passing the exam?
After successfully passing both portions of the exam, you have 60 days to submit your license application, along with proof of your education, a background check, and Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance. The application is provided to you at the PSI testing center upon passing.
